Honda GROM stunt cage (MSX 125, 2014-2026)
The GROM is one of the most popular bikes to learn stunts on, and it spends a lot of time on its side while you do. This Honda GROM stunt cage wraps around the engine so that the cage and its pads touch the ground first, not the engine covers or the frame. It is just as useful for everyday riding, where it saves the bike from parking drops, low-speed slides and costly damage.

Whether you are looking for a GROM crash cage, a stunt cage kit or simple crash bars, this is the full version: a complete cage with its own reinforcement, not two separate bars bolted to the sides.

How it protects the bike
- Side crash pads (sliders, often called clown feet) are the first contact point and take the scraping instead of the engine.
- A lower puck sits under the engine to absorb energy when the bike lands on it.
- A strong connector and extra cage reinforcement tie the whole structure together and reduce the impact force that reaches the engine covers and frame.
- Mounting at several points spreads the load across the frame instead of putting it on one bracket.
Fitment that keeps the bike rideable
The cage is shaped around the GROM so it keeps the factory riding position, leaves full access to the controls and keeps clearance for rear sets. Spacers in the kit line up the mounting points, and it works with minimal interference with the original parts.

Build
Every cage is designed with FEM (finite element) analysis for real engine case protection. The material is steel, finished in black powder coating that holds up well to scrapes and weather.

Before you order
Will I have to trim my bodywork?
In most cases no - the cage goes around the stock plastics. Always compare your bike with the photos on this page, because a facelift year can share the frame and still have different panels, and then a bit of trimming is needed.
What about the exhaust?
The cage is designed around the standard exhaust visible in the photos. If you run aftermarket headers, expect a clash - our cages are built on bikes with factory headers.
Two up?
No problem, the cage leaves the passenger seat and pegs usable.
Warranty?
Two years. Parts that went through a crash are not covered - that is what the cage is there for.
How much does it add to the bike?
Roughly 5 kg for a small cage and 8 kg for a big one, all made of reinforced seamless tube.
What happens when the pads wear out?
You just swap them. The sliders are a wear part and one type fits every cage we make.
