Honda CB650R crash bars and engine guard (2019-2024)
The CB650R shows off its four-cylinder engine - great to look at, painful to scratch. These CB650R crash bars work as a full engine guard: a steel cage with crash pads (sliders) that reaches the ground before the engine does, whether you are practising stunts, riding gymkhana or just parking on a slope. It is a crash cage designed to protect the Honda CB650R and the rider's wallet after a slide or a small accident.
More than a crash bar
A simple crash bar protects one point on each side. This cage safeguards the engine properly and is built from durable steel tubing to survive repeated drops during training, while staying light enough not to change how the motorcycle handles. The result is real crash protection with long-term durability.

Before you order
Will I have to trim my bodywork?
In most cases no - the cage goes around the stock plastics. Always compare your bike with the photos on this page, because a facelift year can share the frame and still have different panels, and then a bit of trimming is needed.
What about the exhaust?
The cage is designed around the standard exhaust visible in the photos. If you run aftermarket headers, expect a clash - our cages are built on bikes with factory headers.
Two up?
No problem, the cage leaves the passenger seat and pegs usable.
Warranty?
Two years. Parts that went through a crash are not covered - that is what the cage is there for.
How much does it add to the bike?
Roughly 5 kg for a small cage and 8 kg for a big one, all made of reinforced seamless tube.
What happens when the pads wear out?
You just swap them. The sliders are a wear part and one type fits every cage we make.
