The manual timing tensioner is the perfect replacement for the automatic (OEM) tensioners on the Honda CBR.
Easy assembly allows you to quickly replace a worn tensioner with a manual one, which will always work.
Mounting method:
1. Unscrew the outermost tensioning bolt.
2. Screw the tensioner to the housing with the original M6 bolts
3. Tighten the tensioning bolt with your fingers (not with a wrench).
4. When there is resistance, we recommend unscrewing the tensioning screw by about 1/8 turn.
5. Tighten the lock nut.
The chain should not make noise when the engine is started. Tensioners should only be installed in a professional motorcycle workshop.
