Stunt pegs and footpegs

Sizes

• 22 x 100 mm - the standard size, light, for front sets and most rear sets.
• 30 x 100 mm CNC - a fatter peg with a bigger platform, the one to pick if you ride in boots with a stiff sole or spend a lot of time standing.
• Axle pegs and sliders - M8 and M10 thread, so they go on a 636, F4i, 954, KTM, GSXR, Street Triple 675 / 765 or MT-07 without an adapter.

Model specific pegs

Some bikes get their own: Kawasaki ZX6R 636 (2003-2004), and club style Harley Davidson Dyna and Sportster pegs with crash pad covers, where the peg is also what the bike leans on.

Grip, and what wears out

Knurling is the whole point of a stunt peg: a polished peg looks good and throws your boot off the first time it is wet. Aluminium wears slower than it looks, but the pads and sliders are consumables - they are meant to grind down instead of the peg, and they unscrew with one M8 or M10 bolt.

Pegs rarely go on alone. Front and rear sets give you the brackets to mount them on, and mirror block offs clean up the cockpit once the mirrors come off.
